Just visited the ICube centre to meet Katsumoto sensei so that he can teach me how to handle the exhibition that I volunteered to help out for.
Katsumoto sensei is really a very nice person. I just get the feel from him. He talks to people as if they are his friends and he is somehow very light-hearted. Eh.. I can't really describe but that's my first impression of him. Not many people can to others like that when they have only met them for the first time. 感心感心。
But I think I wasted this very great opportunity by not asking him more things about himself. I googled him before the meeting and he has a lot of great and interesting projects. Should have ask him how he come up with those ideas and maybe more about the life of R&D. :/ haiz.. I always only think of good things to ask/say to others after I lost the opportunity to. :(
Oh wellz.... On a side note. I learnt that "If there is a nice big sofa in the middle of a R&D office that have mostly desks and chairs, DO NOT SIT ON IT".
2 guys were conducting some experiment using the sofa(I think something to do with the sound effects) and I actually sat on their experiment. -.-" Was so embarassing when 1 of the guys told me to get up cuz they were doing the experiment, moreover, after I sat there for about 20min or so. Felt even worse when I realised that when they say "Jama da(obstacle)" earlier, it was actually me. -.-" Don't think they knew I understood a little bit of what they were saying, I pretended that I did not know Japanese(because I think their English is much better than my Japanese). That is unless they notice the vocab list I was studying earlier which I don't think they did. The words in there were very small and they seem too busy to pay attention to what I was doing.
